VX-402R(P) เป็นอุปกรณ์ตรวจจับการเคลื่อนไหวภายนอก ชนิด PIR (Passive Infrared) ในรูปแบบ ตัวอุปกรณ์ถูกออกแบบมาให้มีความทนทาน สามารถติดตั้งในพื้นที่ภายนอกได้
ตัวอุปกรณ์มีรัศมีในการตรวจจับที่ 12m. กว้าง 90° พร้อมด้วยเทคโนโลยี Double Conductive Shielding ที่สามารถขจัดปัญหาการรบกวนจากแสงแดด ซึ่งเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญที่ทำให้เกิด False alarm ในการติดตั้งระบบตรวจจับการเคลื่อนไหวภายนอก ทำให้ VX-402R(P) เป็นหนึ่งในอุปกรณ์ที่สามารถได้ในหลายๆพื้นที่ได้อย่างมีเสถียรภาพ
VX-402R(P) ถูกออกแบบให้มีเสถียรภาพ ภายใต้สิ่งแวดล้อมที่เปลี่ยนแปลงอยู่ตลอดเวลา โดยสามารถป้องกันการการ False alarm จากสัตว์เล็กๆ หรือ นก
VX-402R(P) ใช้เทคโนโลยีการส่งสัญญาณ Wireless ชนิด PowerCode 24-bit ซึ่งช่วยให้สามารถมีรูปแบบการส่งได้มากกว่า 16 ล้านรูปแบบ และในการส่งสัญญาณในแต่ละครับ รูปแบบในการส่งสัญญาณจะแตกต่างจากเดิมทุกครั้ง ช่วยให้สามารถป้องกันการการถูกลอกเลียนสัญญาณ โดยผู้บุกรุกที่เชี่ยวชาญได้ และด้วย Smart anti-collision ที่ช่วยป้องกันการชนกันของสัญญาณ จึงสามารถใช้งานได้อย่างปราศจากความกังวล ว่าจะโดนสัญญาณชนิดอื่นเข้ามารบกวน
